Local businesses are loved but rarely get the full recognition they deserve. We need to fix that.
This is why Entrepreneur He cooperated with Four square To create this, our second annual list — featuring the 150 most beloved small businesses in the U.S.
To create this list, we used places data from Foursquare, a geospatial technology company that tracks greater than 100 attributes of local businesses, including foot traffic, rankings, customer photos, and even tip rates. We limited our search to independently owned and operated businesses in the U.S. with 4 or fewer locations that were marked as open as of May 15, 2024. We then divided the top results into 10 categories (retail, nightlife, food, etc.) and ranked the businesses based on a number of aspects that reflect their popularity.

Small businesses can only be listed once, so we have removed any businesses that made the 2023 list.
