Opinions expressed by entrepreneurs’ colleagues are their very own.

Do you remember your first love? You were dizzy about spending time together, you talked for hours and you were excited about the future. There was nothing more necessary than that person. When I founded my business for the first time, I used to be in love with her. I joined with work and I could spend hours developing recent ideas. Talk ceaselessly with other firms about problems or share stories. I focused on the future and excited with the possibilities.

Let’s face it: my business and yours could be as intoxicating as the first (or even the second) or third love. But like any serious relationship, it is naive to think that the honeymoon can last ceaselessly. Enthusiasm may weaken, and exertions related to every day working conduct often wears even the most engaged, loving owner of the company.

Did you fall in love with your business? Has romance and emotions disappeared? Has it been replaced by fatigue and even a little bit of apathy? There are several characters that may signal your “relationship” with your company, has modified.

Instead of having fun with work, you are annoyed or irritated by clients or employees. You avoid or delay doing necessary tasks to move the company forward. You are less apprehensive about the quality of the product or service, and more interested in providing it.

Sounds familiar? It often happens that he has emotional ups and downs in business. In fact, it is not a realistic belief that you will have the same intensity and strive for your company from yr to yr. If you fell in love with your company, repairing the situation requires greater than flowers, candies and a romantic dinner. The excellent news is that with a little delicate loving care and thoughtful planning you can get well it. Here are five things you can do to feel love again.

Go back

One of the best ways to re -awaken passion is to try to remember why you began the company. For many of us, the desire to do something that we love and have more control over our lives. When we are busy, it is easy to forget about all good things in the company.

What do you still love at work? I like interaction with clients. I like the challenge of solving a difficult problem and seeing the results. I like a sense of greater control over my life. Yes, there are things beyond my control, but much lower than if I worked for another person. Remove some of your initial documents or photos of you and your business activities. Take some time to nostalgic. Remember how you felt when you opened the door and probably looked completely different than today.

Dirty your hands

Do you feel that the whole lot you do are documents, human management and dealing with crises? If you want to find this spark, go out and do some work. In the last article I wrote about the importance of blending the strategy with practical commitment. You used to wear many hats and did the whole lot from sweeping the floor to the construction of the product. Perhaps the time has come to sit at the planning session of an exciting initiative. Go to the client’s visit with sales employees. Hit back and feel the pulse of Biznesu. Dirty your hands. Return to a company, which incorporates greater visibility among customers, improvement of employees’ morale and first -hand vision would build greater visibility. There is also a easy pride of looking at what you built.

Break the routine and run away

When you start the undertaking, there is not much routine. It is all on board and things all the time change. It could be terrifying, but also exciting. As the company is matured, you start to fall into a routine. It is as if every week in the same restaurant with dinner in the same restaurant. It gets boring. Try to break the pattern.

If you tend to work straight through lunch, meet a friend and eat an extremely long lunch. If you are the first and last to leave the office, take off Friday afternoon or come late on Monday morning. You can feel like a child who has a snow day. It’s a small “time” that might help you regain this sense of satisfaction and make “the heart that it will grow.”

Change the scenery

Another way to re -create a spirit of entrepreneurship is to reconfigure or create a recent work area. Is your office to Frumpy? Old look? Think about what happens when you put a fresh layer of paint on the partitions at home. It’s higher. It seems recent. It makes you smile. Small changes, similar to suspension of latest photos or carrying things, can have a big difference. Two years ago I moved the office from the building in the city center to a more convenient location. We bought recent ergonomic desks, added colourful screen divisors between work stations, built a kitchen in the kitchen and added a small comfortable seating area. I like space and love for work. There are many studies that confirm the influence of the physical environment on the mood, but you do not need a test to feel the difference.

Celebrate

When you have fun Valentine’s Day, you do something special. You buy flowers, prepare a wonderful dinner or send your beloved note or SMS -as information about what you love in them. If you want to regain this warm, mushy feeling of your business, have fun with the people and have fun them. It doesn’t have to be anything big. It could be a pleased hour or go to the movie – no matter this, give employees a feast.

If you have ambivalent feelings about your company or you fell in love with work. Don’t despair. Admit it and try some suggestions provided. And if you are filled with love for what you do, identical to me, have fun!
