About the speakers:
Ronald Diamond is the founder and chairman of Diamond Wealth, where he invests with greater than 100 family offices ranging in size from $250 million to $30 billion. Diamond Wealth invests in private markets, including private equity, enterprise capital, and real estate. Diamond chairs two TIGER 21 offices in Chicago and leads the national Family Office Group. Earlier in his profession, he founded Pinnacle Capital, a hedge fund that outperformed the S&P 500 for 10 consecutive years, and held executive leadership positions at Bear Stearns and Drexel Burnham Lambert. He is also the founder and CEO of Family Office World Media, a platform for family offices to collaborate, learn, and innovate. An energetic philanthropist, Diamond serves on the Leadership Circle of the Aspen Institute and other nonprofit boards. He holds a Magna Cum Laude degree in economics from Northwestern University.
Eric Becker is the co-founder and co-chairman of Cresset, a multifamily office with over $50 billion in assets under management. He also co-founded Sterling Partners, a private equity firm that has raised over $5.7 billion in capital, and founded Caretta Group and Vennpoint. Eric is energetic in civic and philanthropic organizations, serving on quite a few boards, including the Positive Coaching Alliance. He studied economics at the University of Chicago before starting his entrepreneurial profession.
Pete Cadence is a serial entrepreneur and philanthropist who serves as Chairman of The Kadens Family Foundation, which focuses on providing equal access to education to combat poverty. He is also Chairman of Katalyst Capital and Founder of Fello, a platform reimagining support for mental health and substance abuse. Previously, Pete was the co-founder and CEO of Green Thumb Industries, a large legal marijuana company, and the founding father of SoCore Energy, one of the largest business solar corporations in the U.S. He also co-founded HOPE Chicago, a $1 billion scholarship program for underserved families, and serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations.
Mike Gamson is a co-founder and managing partner of Permanent Capital Ventures, an expansion-stage enterprise capital firm. Previously, he was CEO of Evozyne, an AI biotech company, and CEO of Relativity, a $3.6 billion legal technology company. He also spent 11 years at LinkedIn, where he oversaw global revenue growth from $10 million to over $5 billion and helped lead the company’s $26 billion acquisition by Microsoft. Mike serves on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and is an energetic angel investor, advising over 100 corporations.
