Haley Weidenbaum, currently a co -founder with her husband Adam Weidenbaum from Windows Company Everhembegan its starting interior design in 2011. “At that time, windows treatment was the most difficult part of my work,” says Haley Entrepreneur. “I could not find the right company to implement the projects I wanted. The quality was not great. Adam, a graphic designer with skilled finance experience, was an ideal co -founder who helps to appreciate the vision. When Haley approached him for his idea for Everhem, Adam worked at the digital media agency, in which he focused on branding – and was ready to vary.

“I knew enough not to doubt Haley at that moment,” says Adam. “When he comes up with something, it usually happens. “We wanted to come up with a name that was not particularly focused on window treatment alone, because we did not know what the future of the company could be,” recalls Adam. “Maybe we’ll get to a different vertical or many other vertical.

Weidenbams warned about capital outside capital from the very beginning. In the early years, they used their savings to finance the undertaking themselves. The first organic order and the month of sale were “exciting”.

“We entered the industry that has been around for many years and many years,” says Haley, “so we didn’t really try to find the wheels again [in terms of] What everyone else did [with] performing non -standard windows treatment. “Our caution has at all times been looking at investors, we do not want to manage the company’s destination too early and risk ruining it,” explains Adam. “It seemed that it was a smarter decision, at least at the starting, to do it with charging, let it’s slow and see where it is going.”

This conservative approach to growth has also expanded to employ a company. At the starting of 2020, a few months after launching, the co -founders still did every little thing themselves. At that moment, Weidenbums had one child and twins along the way, so they knew that it was only a matter of time before that they had to introduce additional help. The couple hired their first team member a few weeks before the pandemic locks.

Today, Everhem is a brand worth many millions of dollars with a “small but powerful team” that helps maintain a constant trajectory of growth. Employment – and to make sure that new team members are appropriate – remains one of the company’s most important and most important goals.

Co-founders have learned a lot for years, building Everhem, and one of their best advice for beginner entrepreneurs who hope to start out their very own corporations, is easy, but vital: ​​do not look at revenues from day to day-even a month after month.
