Less than seven months after raising greater than $200 million in Series D funding at a $2.2 billion valuation, the AI-powered work assistant and enterprise search startup Collect raised over $260 million in Series E funding at a $4.6 billion valuation, co-led by Altimeter Capital AND Global DST.
The Palo Alto, California-based startup achieved unicorn status in May 2023 after raising $100 million in Series C funding led by Sequoia Capital.
Founded by a former Google Glean engineers are using a generative AI-powered search tool that connects to enterprise apps and databases, and its AI assistant and platform enable users to build their very own AI apps.
Along with the latest round, Glean also announced latest features to help automate multi-step workflows and native integrations Zendesk AND Sale Cloud service 1.
New investors in this round include: Artisanal ventures, Sapphire Projects AND SoftBank Vision Fund 2. Existing investors Coat, General Catalyst, Iconiq growth, IVP, Little Perkins, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Sequoia Capital also participated.

IN release In announcing the funding, Glean says its annual recurring revenue has greater than tripled over the past 12 months.
