Concord, the new FPS Firewalk, will debut on August 23

One of the first games Sony showed off during its State of Play presentation in May was Concord, a new multiplayer FPS title from Firewalk Studios. The upcoming sci-fi PvP shooter will have a pre-release beta in July, with a full release scheduled for August 23, 2024. The cinematic trailer shows off some of the game’s comedic elements (which look like inspired by Guardians of the Galaxy), while the gameplay trailer showed off the various abilities of the game’s characters .

The cinematic trailer showed the three playable characters – Lennox, Star Child and Haymar – trying to finish a task on a planet in the Concord Galaxy. They are called Freelancers because they are freelancers who can select their very own work. Each of them has their very own abilities, and we saw some of them in the gameplay trailer.

According to Firewalk, the gameplay was inspired by the whole lot from fighting games to strategy titles. They announced that they’d be running a beta in July, with pre-orders starting on June 6. The game will be released on PlayStation 5.
