When did you begin your side hustle and bustle and where did you discover inspiration for it?
Tavil: During the pandemic we noticed that our own animals appeared to be affected by this. Everyone worked at home and their animals were ignored or bored. Walking or going to the park appeared to be reflection, taking into account the stress under which everyone was. My own dog, magic, inspired us. Our vision was easy: providing animals with social opportunities and playing outside the home.
What were some of the first steps you took to gather your site from the ground?
Fallas: We bought Dodge Caravan from 1994 for $ 6,000, we spotted the interior and began to go from door to door to choose up blissful puppies and take them from the city to go on wandering and discover latest areas.
TAVIL: In addition, we arrange an Instagram account to supply live updates for the owners, but it quickly became a hit among non-personal owners who simply followed and enjoyed the content of blissful dogs.

Fallas: The only thing I regret every day is that we didn’t get separate calls for business. We use our personal phones and mix our accounts. It takes us a lot when we refer to clients, potential clients and friends.

When you come to Happy Tails, our front area is a shop windows that sells the whole lot, from unique bowls for Jonathan Adler’s dogs to toys and treats from the Wildone and Bocce bakery. We have washing stations for individuals who need to spend time with dogs and not dirty their homes. In addition, we have an area for people to sit down and work.
Keeping the dog clean and fragrant freshness was difficult. Of course, we expected this, but considering that we have one of the major spaces in a compact urban environment, we were shocked how difficult it was to take care of. We took different steps, equivalent to hotel aromas in holes in the holes, separate air systems and the most up-to-date cleansing equipment to take care of the purity of the pre -school sector for dogs.

Do you remember a specific case when something went very unsuitable – how did you fix it?
Tavil: One of the cases that actually protrudes me is that the dog under our care had an unexpected medical situation. How long did it take you with a coherent monthly revenues? How much did the lateral hustle and bustle earn?
Fallas: We pretended to be Earth! Our concept “School Bus for Dogs” began immediately and spread quickly. During the first few months, the demand was so high that we bought our second and third vans. From the very starting we had consistent monthly revenues and grew quickly when more people heard about our service. On average, each van generated over USD 10,000 monthly, and our expenses were a gas/fee for masses and staff.
What does growth and revenues seem like now?
Fallas: Since the expansion of physical space, we have observed an increase of 120% from month to two. We are currently in the third month and we see one other significant growth. We are on the right track to exceeding $ 2.3 million in the first 12 months.
How much time do you spend at work in your organization every day, every day or every month?
Tavil: When we left our wholesale work, we thought that our working hours would fall with the freedom to be our own boss. We didn’t know that we might work greater than ever. We are mainly on the 24/7 watch between Instagram and continuous connections and messages of consumers. IRV and I are in our latest facility seven days a week because we are working on building the very best team.
What do you want best about running this business?
Fallas: We love each day interactions with one of the most fascinating people in this melting pot in New York. We love this when dogs make friends with each other, and then the owners can connect because of the friendship of their dogs. It is also so satisfying when we receive feedback from our members and even non -members. Everyone is very blissful when they have the opportunity to see dogs in the jungle.

What is your best, useful business advice?
Fallas: Sell your product or service before before you open. Before running in Tribec, we built a strong community through social media, we involved potential customers early and sold membership in advance. This not only generated revenues from above, but also approved demand and created a loyal customer base before the door opened. Regardless of whether it is a product, service or subscription, early entry reduces risk and builds a shoot.
Tavil: Think about time too! It was also strategic to launch physical space in winter, because it is a time when the owners want their dogs to practice, but it will possibly even be difficult in New York with low temperatures and snow.
