Forge, a community-driven gaming marketing and engagement platform, has reached one million registered users and unveiled latest Web3 investors.
The company also announced partnerships with over 60 game developers, and its strategic investors include gaming protocol company Web3, Ava Labs and Sui Foundation.
Forge The latest investors come on the heels of Forge passing a milestone of greater than one million registered users, Forge said. It marks a step forward in Forge’s mission to revolutionize how games not only connect with players, but also reward them.
Since its launch lower than a yr ago, Forge has grown into an ecosystem where players can earn rewards by playing latest games and joining their communities, creating a symbiotic environment where players and developers profit. The goal is to rework the landscape of game distribution and community engagement.

“Reaching 1 million users in our first year is an incredible milestone for Forge, and we couldn’t be more excited about the journey ahead,” said Kun Gao, CEO of Forge, in a statement. (*1*)
Gao explained Forge’s latest business technique to me in this story. It’s a step away from the startup’s original focus on loyalty rewards for players, and now it’s putting marketing tools in the hands of developers so they will grow communities around their games. These tools are increasingly vital in a world where traditional marketing doesn’t work as well.
New investors
In addition to Ava Labs and Sui Foundation, the latest investors include Chris Wang, founding father of the ThunderCore protocol, Dingaling, James Zhang of Crypto Art House, Shan of Project Godjira, and advisory firm AP Collective.
These investors join other investors including EVG, Formless, Hashkey, LiquidX, Polygon, and angels CH Kim (KRAFTON), Gabby Dizon (YGG), Kevin Lin (Metatheory/Twitch), Matt Liu (Origin Protocol), Michael Tong (Xterio), Ralf Reichart (ESL), Ray Chan (9gag/Memeland), Sebastien Borget (The Sandbox), Steve Chen (Youtube), Teck Chia (BinanceX/f.actor).
“It’s been a pleasure working with the Forge team. With Ava Labs’ focus on ecosystem development and user acquisition across our entire gaming portfolio and ecosystem, Forge has proven to be a valuable partner,” said Parker Heath, gaming lead at Ava Labs, in a statement. “Their product and team are equally impressive, and we plan to continue working with them to make web3 games great.”
“Forge’s engagement platform provides significant value to our Sui-powered games roster,” said Jameel Khalfan, head of ecosystem development at Sui Foundation, in a statement. “As we expand our partnership with Forge as investors, we look forward to accelerating the growth of the Sui player community and the entire web3 gaming ecosystem.”
Over 60 game partners
Forge has partnered with over 60 games that have leveraged the platform to grow their communities. From independent developers to established studios, these partners have leveraged Forge’s modern tools to generate over 25 million game and community interactions
“Our partners are the heart of Forge’s success,” Gao said. “We’ve seen incredible results from games on our platform, with millions of actions from players who are more engaged and committed to the communities they’re a part of. We can’t wait to welcome even more partners as we grow.”
Forge was founded by gaming pioneer Dennis “Thresh” Fong, Crunchyroll founder Kun Gao, and Cyence founder George Ng. Forge initially began as a part of GGWP, an AI-powered game moderation platform the team launched in 2020. Forge’s mission is to supply all developers with access to user acquisition and community engagement, and provide them with an efficient user experience so they will focus on making amazing games.
