Companies of all sizes recognize the playing of artificial intelligence. Despite the emotions associated with latest technology, most of their pilot projects do not introduce into production.
Gruve.Ai, a startup founded by the team for Rahi Systems, goals to help enterprises to acquire AI solutions in the testing phase RThe EAL-WORLD application using artificial intelligence to provide its services.
Rahi Systems is an It Solutions company acquired by Wesco $ 225 million in 2022.
IT services corporations, including predominant players similar to Accenture, have long been consultants to implement latest technological projects for corporations when they do not have qualified staff. However, considering that their work is based on people, their knowledge is often associated with a high price.
“The technology services industry has not been disturbed in the last 25 to 30 years,” said Tarun Raison, general director of Gruve. “Ai really changes this dynamics.”
Gruve hopes to change the traditional IT advisory model in two key ways: firstly, reducing the need to employ a large consultant personnel using AI agents for repetitive tasks. Secondly, burdening customers based on use, not every hour.
In the past, VC was generally not interested in investing in IT services to a large extent, because their rely on human work meant that these corporations were difficult. However, using AI agents as a substitute of human consultants, Gruve can provide software similar to gross margins from 70% to 80%, which is much higher than the margins of traditional technical consultants, said Navin Chaddha, managing partner at Mayfield.

The modern Gruve model and building his team building Rahi Systems helped him collect a $ 20 million round and under the leadership of Mayfield, with the participation of Cisco Investments and other investors. Fresh Capital brings total GRUVE funds to $ 37.5 million.
Raisoni said his team for the first time meets the client to determine their needs of artificial intelligence and prepares his data to support the AI application before the suggestion and implementation of AI solutions.
“You must understand your client’s activities before you can implement, because their business processes are different, their work flows are different. The way they serve their clients is different,” he said.
But when Gruve is ready to implement, AI agents will handle such tasks as detecting security violations and the transition from local to cloud CRM.
Like traditional IT consultations, the company cooperates with chosen trusted technology suppliers to implement its solutions for customers. Current Gruve partners are large corporations similar to Cisco, Red Hat and Google, in addition to about a dozen-product start-ups similar to Glean and Surisrite.
But unlike most technical consultants, Gruve won’t exhibit its clients when the solution is implemented. Their “services are available on demand, in the same way as electricity is supplied or in the same way as the processing of cloud processing,” said Chaddha. For example, if Gruve implements artificial intelligence for security, the company will burden the customer only after detecting and analyzed by installed artificial intelligence.
