Information about the Techstars TC investigation and how artificial intelligence is accelerating technology development for people with disabilities

The decline in enterprise capital financing has affected start-ups, VC firms and accelerators alike. One of the firms in the last category, Techstars, has been making changes to its business for some time, which has led to a number of exits.

But that is not all: Mary Anna Azevedo, Kirsten KorosecAND Alex Wilhelm I had a lot to think about this week.

We had notes on Ansa’s recent fundraise, a wallet-as-a-service startup, and how Alex initially misunderstood its business model. Kirsten then talked to us about the simply massive deal in the self-driving space, and Alex hinted at Beehiiv and its own funding round: $33 million is quite a Series B in 2024!

We had a few minutes to debate Anna Heim’s latest reporting on disability technology and how artificial intelligence is taking on the industry and accelerating it. Moreover, the startups we discuss appear to have a mixture of business models, which implies there could also be many ways to show technology that works higher for more people into real and large firms.
