Kevin O’Leary used to have a photography lab in his basement.
As a teenager, he did every thing he could to meet his dreams of becoming a photographer. There was one problem – his father didn’t approve of this decision.
“He said you’re not good enough and you’re going to starve,” O’Leary said video sent to X. “He said you should go to college and get a degree, and I did an MBA, which later turned out to be a very important tool for me.”
O’Leary has previously explained why he thinks he is an MBA graduate, which could cost an average of $231,420 for a top 10 show in the US, it was value it.
In Facebook post 2021he wrote that the degree gave him an “edge” and taught him “discipline,” transforming him from a twenty-something with poor study habits into someone who knew how one can make money, defend his ideas, and focus on his strengths.
O’Leary he graduated University of Western Ontario in 1980, what does it cost today $83,250 per yr for domestic students.
Photography continued to play a key role in his life: after graduating, the first company he founded, Special Event Television, was a production company focused on sports entertainment.
“It was my attempt to get back to what I loved, which was photography and production, and make money from it,” O’Leary said in the music video for X. “Science and art have come together in my life.”

O’Leary sold the company and then in 1986 used the proceeds to found SoftKey, which sold educational and entertainment software. Him and his two business partners sold SoftKey to Mattel in 1999 for $4.2 billion.
Looking back, I have no regrets.
“All of this has made me who I am today, the good, the bad and the ugly,” O’Leary said in the video. – And I would not change anything.
