If you are a fan EntrepreneurYou know that Perell from her investor’s role at our show height, and now is preparing for the event of the 12 months for the predominant entrepreneur, Level Up, in Las Vegas on August 22-23. I will certainly be there and you need to too. (Get tickets here.)

Perell has a latest book called Errors that made me a millionaire. Mark Randolph, co -founder of Netflix, calls this “necessary reading”. In the book, Perell talks about a non -blinking description of his entrepreneurial journey and spreads the way in which she transformed a profession error into a secret weapon that driven her forward. Trust me when you finish listening, you will need to get this concept out of your head and get to work!

Check out our whole conversation here and read below to get three take -out successes that I collected from our inspirational convention.

  1. Be patient. Kim says that there are no night successes. After losing my corporate work, she founded her own marketing company from the kitchen table, using a USD 10,000 loan from grandma. “I sat at the kitchen table for three years, 16 hours a day, just polishing it,” he recalls. “It’s difficult. It’s lonely. But you have to be persistent, and when everyone gives up, you have to go forward.” Her perseverance paid off. She sold this company for $ 20 million. And she didn’t stop at it – the last company she sold began $ 235 million. In case you wondered, yes, she repaid this loan of her grandmother and interest.
  2. Make your shot. When it involves investing, who says he at all times supports great people over great ideas. “I want adapting people who can find a way to win regardless of the circumstances. And honestly, the idea always changes.” And he encourages everyone to go to promotion and shot with each other. “Develop your idea for me, I can’t wait!”
  3. Business failure is not a personal failure. Kim assigns her success for learning from mistakes, but she is not distributed to them. “Your company may fail, but do not define or mean a failure,” he says. “You must be able to say” it was just something that happened “and go on”. He adds: “The only mistake you should never make is to give up yourself.”

3 things you need to know about who

  • Kim holds a personal roll on his phone to look every time he feels doubtful.
  • Her favorite option to turn off her business brain is to spend time with children. “I have four children, and when they are all together, you can’t think about anything else!”
  • If you do not “earn or study” at work after three years, who says it is time to go on
