“Our team Reburn can’t wait to finally share our hard work and vision of La Quimer with players on April 25,” said Dmytro Lymar, CEO of Reburn in a statement. “Before our version, we invite players to join us in our closed beta version to look early for cooperation for our vision of Nuevo Caracas and far.”
World building

In addition, eager FPS fans can expand to the unique mixture of the world science fiction building, Latin American mysticism and the tense fight of the shooters in the first trailer of the game. The game takes place in the futuristic Latin American megalopolis. The trailer of the game withdraws the curtain of the intriguing mixture of La Quimer’s exoses, futuristic weapons and robotic enemies between PMC and its goals.
It makes enemies at risk of multi -parish electric shock, scanning of hidden threats, avoid some death with the agility of exosuites and more. La Quimer’s players can match two additional friends in the whole mission to cooperate, coordinating battle tactics and experience the city and jungle of Nuevo Caracas.
La Quimera is the first original mental property in Reburn. La Quimer’s world and narrative was written and created by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Neon Demon) and Eja Warren. The game, played in the fictitious Latin American mega-city Nuevo Caracas, tells the story of the PMC group down on its icing, in a huge conflict between competing factions and shading corporations, because mystical events are increasingly blurring the border between reality and illusion. Exosuit provided by one such benefactor allows players to get involved in an intensive fight, using a technologically advanced gadget and superhuman strength to outsmart their enemies.
Origin

The list of Reburn programmers includes the foremost designers of the game, artists, sound engineers, programmers and others from the entire metro series. Metro 2033, Last Light and Exodus Gameplay and designer AI Oleksandr Kostiuk serves as a project on La Quimer. Lymar has been working in games since 2006 and previously he was the director and general director of Games Ukraine, who acted as a separate unit, different from other 4a Games studies.
“As a development studio operating in Ukraine, the last few years were extremely difficult in terms of reviving any artistic creation during the implementation of the war and dramatic changes in the gaming industry,” said Lymar. “Through all this, we focused on what we love: creating engaging, based on the history of experience. Our work would not be possible without courage and sacrifice of those who defend themselves with Ukraine, and we are deeply grateful for their strength and immunity. We are also really grateful to everyone who supported and believed in us.”
Reburn was previously generally known as 4a Games Ukraine, one of many studies working on a series of Metro games. Reburn consists of over 110 programmers, in which many designers, artists, animators, programmers, QA and others from the entire Game Metro Game series.
Moving from the established IP, Kiev, Ukraine Reburn does something rare. Most game corporations are hooked on continuation. But Reburn takes the risk of a completely recent IP. La Quimer’s world and narrative was written and created by Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive, Neon Demon) and Eja Warren.
4a Games was founded in Kiev, Ukraine in 2006 and the development of Metro 2033 began. The company built its own 4A game engine.

In 2007, Ukraine worked through its Cyprus office to sign a contract with THQ to finance the development and publication of Metro 2033. IP laws went to THQ under the contract, but the IP rights to the game engine remained in 4a Ukraine.
The title was released in 2010 and it was a hit as a triple game. Then ThQ entered the development of Metro Last Light.
But in 2012, THQ went bankrupt, and the rights to the last light of the metro were taken over at the auction by Koch Media, under the trademark of Deep Silver.
In 2014, Russia attacked Ukraine for the first time. Part of the band left and founded their very own studio in Malta.
“The situation was not so great, and some people wanted to leave the country. We organized and helped them a bit, and they founded a studio in Malta,” said Lymar.
This studio became Malta 4a and they agreed to develop the third game, Metro Exodus. Both studies worked closely on this. The title Metro Exodus released in 2019, and each studies grew enough to work on their very own games independently.
In 2020, 4a Malta was taken over by the Embler Group, which is also the owner of Metro IP. But 4a Ukraine received additional funds for independent financing of its own development of a recent project based on its own IP, La Quimer. And now he has modified as Reburn. The 4A trademark remained with Malta 4a, but each corporations can use the 4A engine. Reburn worked, but she needed to deal with each the Russian invasion in 2022 and Covid-19.
