SunnyAi Music Company is currently in a legal battle with music labels, an acquisition announced on Thursday WavtoolBased on AI Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). This takeover is aimed at improving the possibility of SNO edition for the authors of texts and producers.
Wavtool, launched in 2023, offers several tools for musicians, equivalent to STEM separation, AI AI generation and AI music assistant. Suno integrates Wavtool technology with a latest one editing interfacewhich was launched this month.
The terms of the contract have not been disclosed. The company’s spokesman noted that the “majority” of Wavtool employees moved to the teams of Product and Engineering of Suno, although the exact number of those that didn’t move, was not disclosed.
The takeover appears on the heels of one more lawsuit against the company. Country musician Tony Justice and his music label, fifth Wheel Records, filed a lawsuit against Suno at the starting of this month, claiming that Suno used the sound recordings protected by copyright to coach the AI music generator.
