Robert Falck, founder of Electric and Autonomous Trucking Startup Einride, gives way to the role of CEO, because the company is working on scaling its technology, collecting more funds and exploring IPO’s capabilities.
Falck will go to the role of chairman of the board, where he’ll focus on the Einride long -term strategy.

Falck founded Einride, his seventh company, in 2016 with a mission of transforming the transport industry emitting coal emissions. His origin is varied. Falck talked in detail with TechCrunch about his goals for Einride to disrupt the freight industry-first with electric trucks, and then electric autonomous pods, which are specially built without a steering wheel or pedals for self-service.
“After almost a decade of the building, the time has come to transfer concentration to the place where I can create the most long -term value,” said Falck in a statement. “As an executive president, I will focus on the company’s overall strategy, including assuring that Einride can make public when it turns out that time is appropriate.”
Charli said he was going to proceed Falck’s mission and help the company responsible scaling outside the current market. The company currently runs one of the largest fleets of heavy electrical trucks in Europe, North America and the Middle East, serving corporations akin to Pepsico, Carlsberg Sweden, DP World and many others.
Einride has collected USD 654.26 million on Pitchbook so far. The last company publicly announced its round with a value of $ 500 million in 2022.
